Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of TrustDocs Avatar Studio, operated by TrustDocs Ltd [company number] (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

The service

We produce done-for-you AI presenter videos. You choose a presenter, format and script, and our team produces a finished video. One credit produces one finished video in one format; the same script in a second format is a second video.

Your account

You must provide accurate details and keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Credits, plans and billing

  • Payments are processed securely by Stripe.
  • Pay-as-you-go credits are valid for 12 months from purchase.
  • Monthly plans renew automatically each month until cancelled; unused plan videos roll over for one month.
  • You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel a plan at any time from your billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
  • Prices may change; we will give reasonable notice.

Refunds

If we are unable to complete an order, the credit is returned to your balance. Credits already used to produce a delivered video are non-refundable. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Turnaround

We aim to deliver within around three working days of receiving your script, but timescales are targets, not guarantees.

Your content and intellectual property

You retain ownership of your scripts, brand assets and the finished videos we deliver to you, and may use them freely. You grant us the licence needed to produce and store your videos. You confirm you have the rights to any content you provide, and you are responsible for its accuracy and for ensuring it complies with the law and any professional or regulatory obligations that apply to you — including the accuracy of any estate-planning information.

Custom avatars

A custom avatar is filmed for a one-off fee plus a monthly hosting charge. You confirm you have the consent of anyone appearing in the filming. If you stop paying the hosting fee, we may remove the custom avatar.

Acceptable use

You must not use the service to create unlawful, misleading, defamatory or infringing content, or in any way that breaches applicable laws or regulations.

Availability and liability

We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
